BOOK A FIELD TRIP OR GROUP SCREENING!
FEBRUARY 27 through MID APRIL, 2020
Children’s Film Festival Seattle will offer field trip screenings for school groups on weekdays from February 27 to mid-April. Most field trips start at 10 a.m., but we can be flexible regarding times — just ask!
Short film programs, for Pre-K through middle school students run the gamut from gentle animation for our youngest viewers, to more adventurous international fare for older grades, to challenging, issues-oriented programs for middle schoolers. This year, the festival will offer all-German, all-French, all-Spanish and all-Japanese language programs as an option for educators.
* Please note our website film program listings only contain dates for public programs. For a field trip, you will choose your own date to come to the festival.
The process of booking is simple:
- Choose a program for your group
- Select three possible dates your group would be able to attend, on a weekday between February 27 through mid-April
- Contact firstname.lastname@example.org with your request; be sure to include the name of your school, the grade level of your students, the number who will attend (including chaperones), the programs you are interested in, and the dates and times you are able to attend.
Field trip opportunities come complete with post-screening discussions and coloring sheets (for younger students) or journal pages (for selected programs, grades 3-8) that kids can take back to the classroom. Tickets for groups of 20 or more are only $5 per person! Scholarships are available for students who qualify for free or reduced-price school meals.
All field trips will be held at Northwest Film Forum, 1515 12th Avenue, on Capitol Hill.
We have two cinemas that can accommodate 120 and 50 people each. Groups of up to 170 people can book both theaters for a single field trip.
