Children of all ages can learn about the life and work of influential filmmaker and animation innovator Lotte Reiniger (1899-1981). Children (ages 1 to 101) can experiment with multiplane stop-motion animation, become a life-size shadow puppet, and learn about shadow puppetry techniques from around the world.

Don’t just watch great films during the festival — make your own! Festival workshops will get you fired up to find out more about the collaborative, magical art of filmmaking.
